Happy Valley is an upper-income residential area in Hong Kong, located in the Hong Kong Island from Hong Kong. Administratively, it is part of Wan Chai District.
It is sometimes known as Wong Nai Chung Kuk or Wong Nai Chung Valley. Name as such after a main road, Wong Nai Chung, named after the stream of the same name that leads into the area.
The area is home to the Happy Valley Racecourse, Hong Kong Racing Museum, Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital, and a number of cemeteries (including the Hong Kong Cemetery) are also located in Happy Valley.
